District PhilosophyThe philosophy of Brighton Area Schools Elementary Physical Education program provides all students the opportunities to develop and demonstrate physical fitness, motor skill, positive social attitudes, and cognitive concepts which underlie strong active minds and bodies.

What every student should know when they leave Physical Education at the end of fourth grade:
1. Every child will understand the importance of physical activity and learn basic sport and locomotor skills.
2. Every child will understand what activities can help them lead a healthy life style.
3. Students will have a basic knowledge of sports skills and are comfortable in trying new activities.
